Gary Miller Songs

"As a song poet there are few in the world today to match him"
Green Man Review, USA

Well here we go again

I’ve been awoken from my slumber

Another restless sleep, and I wonder

What can it be this time?

Well, come put your faith in me

I’ve been waiting for you

For I will be there

When injustice needs correction

I am fuelled by fear and rejection

I am the physical voice of objection

I am a vote without election

I offer action without protection

When there is no other choice but my selection

I will be there when democracy fails

When justice goes off the rails

When all else falls down

I am the last resort

Born of desperation

When there is no support

When anger reaches fever pitch

I am the safety switch

I will be there when there is no other recourse

But action by force

Where no other voice can be heard

When there is no other way to be heard

Where every vision seems blurred

Where every voice seems slurred

When injustice needs to be fought

I am the last resort
