Helen Temperley is a qualified freelance Illustrator and Graphic Designer of 30 years experience, specialising in working closely with musicians, interpreting their song lyrics, music and ideas through her illustration and graphic design work, for use on album artwork and design, books, advertising, packaging, merchandise, clothing, large scale stage banners and anything else required. She is also an experienced college lecturer and community teaching provider, having worked with students and groups of all ages and abilities in a wide variety of college, community, school and library settings.
Whippet Workshops are quite unique in that Gary and Helen collaborate closely on many ‘real life’ projects together, giving them a real insight into how music and art compliment and enhance each other. This sharing of skills enables groups to produce genuinely connected art pieces and songs at the end of each session or course. Sometimes the artwork may inspire the song, sometimes vice versa, but these lively workshops are guaranteed to generate great creativity either way, whatever the subject matter.
